As the upcoming general elections approach, it’s important to note that school board candidates in Michigan run in non-partisan elections. This means that candidates are not affiliated with any political party on the ballot.
All Board of Education elections in Michigan are now held in November, so this year, voters will see their local school board candidates on the ballot alongside other races such as those for state House, U.S. Senate, and even the presidential election.
Our foundation is committed to ensuring our community is fully informed when heading to the polls. While we are not endorsing any school board candidates, we have extended invitations to all current candidates to answer informational questions about themselves. Our goal is to help voters make well-informed decisions as they cast their ballots.
Feel free to visit this page to read responses from current Board Candidates for the partial term seat. (Those names don’t appear on the ballot.) Every vote counts in shaping the future of education in our community!
